Tamil Nadu Open University Admission will commence shortly for the upcoming July session. TNOU admission last date will be May 30th, 2026*. Students have to fill out the online application form on the university’s official website. Interested students can check the admission process steps below:

• Step 1: Visit the official TNOU website at https://tnou.ac.in/.
• Step 2: Click on the “Admissions” tab and select “Online Application.”
• Step 3: Register yourself by providing the required details and creating an ABC ID and password.
• Step 4: Log in using your credentials.
• Step 5: Now start to fill out a TNOU Admission form with all the correct and accurate information. 
• Step 6: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and relevant documents (mark sheets, certificates, etc.).
• Step 7: Pay the application fee of INR 150 online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
• Step 8: Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.

It is now mandatory to create an ABC ID for TNOU Distance Education admission. Students must follow the steps mentioned below to create an Academic Bank of Credit (ABC ) ID:

• Students need to visit the official website of Digilocker @digilocker.gov.in
• Those who have an account, kindly log in; those who do not must create an account with
• Digilocker by entering details like phone numbers, like on Aadhar.
• After signing in to Digilocker, search “University” in the search bar and select the university option on the dropdown list.
• After that, search Tamil Nadu Open University on the university tab and select the university name appearing on the dropdown list.
• After selecting, check the term and condition box and click “OK“.
• From the document list, take your ABC ID and save it for future reference.
